Our Process
Step 1: Inspection

The technician begins with a detailed visual assessment of the vehicle's body panels, focusing on common rust-prone areas such as wheel wells, door edges, and the undercarriage. They look for discoloration, bubbling paint, and any flaking or scaling that may indicate the presence of rust.
2. Accessing Hidden Areas:
To ensure a comprehensive inspection, we lift the vehicle to examine hard-to-reach spots, such as the frame, suspension components, and fuel lines.
3. Moisture Check:
Checking for moisture accumulation is essential, as it often precedes rust formation. The technician may inspect areas where water tends to collect, such as around seals and drainage points.
4. Evaluating Previous Repairs:
If the vehicle has been repaired in the past, the technician will assess the quality of these repairs. Poorly executed work can lead to hidden rust issues that could worsen over time.
Step 2: Vehicle Disassembly


Key components are carefully removed to gain access to critical areas prone to rust. This may include:
1. Fender Liners

2. Plastic Trim
Removal allows for a thorough inspection of mounting points and hidden surfaces.
3. Carpeted Panels
Noise reduction panels are removed to inspect, clean, and protect with Bio-Progard thoroughly.
4. Wheel Wells and Underbody Panels
Any plastic or metal panels that shield these areas are detached to inspect for existing rust and to apply Bio-Progard effectively.
Step 3: Vehicle Disassembly



Underbody Cleaning
1. Dry Debris Removal:
Technicians begin by removing loose dirt, gravel, and debris from the underbody using brushes and compressed air. This step is crucial for exposing surfaces that may be hiding rust or corrosion.
2. High-Pressure Washing:
Next, a high-pressure washer is used to clean the underbody thoroughly. The powerful stream of water effectively removes accumulated grime, road salt, and other contaminants that can contribute to rust formation. Special attention is given to areas where moisture tends to collect, such as wheel wells, chassis, and frame components.
3. Degreasing:
In areas with heavy grease buildup, a degreasing agent is applied. This helps break down stubborn grime and ensures a clean surface for the rustproofing treatment to adhere to. The degreaser is scrubbed in with brushes to ensure effective penetration.
4. Rinsing:
After the degreasing step, the underbody is rinsed thoroughly with clean water to remove any residue from the cleaning agents. This step is essential to ensure that no contaminants remain that could interfere with the rustproofing application.
5. Drying:
The underbody is then dried completely, either by air-drying or using blowers. It’s important that no moisture remains, as this could lead to ineffective rustproofing and potentially encourage rust formation.
6. Final Inspection:
Once cleaning and drying are complete, technicians conduct a final inspection of the underbody. They check for any missed areas and assess whether additional cleaning or rust treatment is necessary before applying the rustproofing solution.

Step 4: Rust Removal and Descaling


Rust Removal and Descaling
1. Mechanical Rust Removal:
For surface rust, technicians typically use needlers or sanding discs to scrub away loose rust and corrosion. In more severe cases, an angle grinder with a rust removal attachment may be employed to tackle deeper rust spots. This method ensures that all loose material is eliminated, revealing solid metal underneath.
2. Chemical Rust Removal:
In addition to mechanical methods, chemical rust removers may be applied to treat stubborn rust. These products penetrate and dissolve rust, making it easier to remove. After applying the chemical, technicians allow it to work for the recommended time before scrubbing the area to lift away any remaining rust.
3. Cleaning the Area:
After removing rust, the affected areas are thoroughly cleaned to eliminate any dust, debris, or residue from the rust removal process. This cleaning ensures a clean surface for rustproofing treatments.
4. Final Inspection:
Once the rust removal and cleaning processes are complete, technicians conduct a final inspection. They check for any remaining rust and assess the integrity of the metal. If necessary, additional treatment may be performed on any remaining spots to ensure a sound surface.
Step 5: Bio-Progard Application


Once the surface is prepared, Bio-Progard rustproofing is applied evenly across the complete underside of the vehicle. Bio-Proguard seeps into seams and crevices, forming a protective barrier against moisture, road salt, and other corrosive elements. Special care is taken to ensure complete coverage, particularly in vulnerable areas like wheel wells and underbody components.

Vehicle cavities such as rockers, fenders, quarters, and the inside of frame channels are fogged with a high-pressure 360-degree nozzle to ensure total protection from the inside out.

After application, the rustproofing needs time to cure, allowing it to bond effectively with the surface. Regular inspections and reapplications, typically every year or two, are recommended to maintain protection. This proactive measure not only enhances the car's durability but also preserves its resale value by preventing rust-related damage.
